17	Married Dawn-Louise in Dawson Creek.

	Dawn-Louise traded in the Z 24 Cavalier for an Oldsmobile Alero.

	July 2001
	An amazing 2 weeks with David & Amanda.  4 day visit to Gramma's in Swift Current.  David & I waxed the Alero.  World Championship in Athletics held at Commonwealth Stadium.

	August 2001
	Drumheller Alberta,  the land of the dinosaurs.  An amazing gash in the prairie.  Camping there is magical.  It feels like you are in the mountains.

	September   2001
11	Two jet airliners reduce the World Trade Center to rubble.  The world watches in horror.  Cell phone calls from the hijacked planes tell of struggles for control.  A third jet hits the Pentagon after strafing the White House.  A forth slams into the ground in rural Pennsylvania,  apparently due to a fight for control on board.
14	President Bush is calling Tuesday's carnage an act of war.  Rescue workers have little luck finding survivors.  More buildings threaten to collapse.
15	40 Billion authorized for the war effort.  A volunteer group is building an amazing new playground for the kids in the neighborhood.

21	Dean & Linda in from Dawson Creek.  Best BBQ steak we've ever eaten.
22	Show home browsing with D & L.
24	British Commandos behind enemy lines in Afghanistan stumble into a gun fight with the Tali Ban forces.
30	The huge new park is still not done.  Had some fun sand time at runway park with David & Amanda.  They watched "Spy Kids" 3 times.

1	DL's Grand Dad is in the hospital again.  Not looking good.
3	Greyhound bus driver killed while driving the interstate.  All bus service suspended in USA.
4	Aircraft explodes over the Black Sea.  Touch of snow this am.  Broke out the winter socks.
6	Trip to Dawson Creek to visit sick Grand Dad.
7	American alliance begin the attack of Afghanistan from the air.
9	Air superiority is achieved.  Returned to Edmonton.
